E-Bike Tours
We have had only good experiences on our multi-day bike tours with mixed groups of normal road bikes and electric bikes.
It is possible to take part in any of our cycling tours with one of our Giant e-bikes. (32 km/h) and NICH e-bikes (45 km/h).

The tour was better organized than I ever could have imagined. Everything was taken care of. The guide (Manop) and the driver (Marsh)truly anticipated every cyclists’ need and were always on top of everything. I loved my rental giant road bike, to the point where I will likely buy it for myself. The streets we took were impeccable and we barely rode on busy roads like highways. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour. The only small downside was the hotel on the rest day, which was pretty run down and had no hot water in the shower. But taking everything else into consideration, will still give a solid 5 stars. Would highly recommend for cycling enthusiasts.

The owner was very nice. I rented a Toyota Yaris for three days, 1000 baht per day, and I left my Chinese ID card as collateral (the owner probably noticed I spoke Thai). The car was in good condition, practically brand new, around 50,000 baht. Although there were a few minor issues, the owner resolved them quickly. The owner is Burmese, his wife is probably a local, and most of the staff are Khmer. When I returned the car, the owner even offered to have one of his staff take me back to my hotel in a tricycle, but I declined. The owner said he hoped I would patronize his business again next time 😂😂😂. The owner doesn’t check if you have a driver’s license, but, folks, the locals in Phuket are very skilled at spotting you in a crowd, so don’t try to fool them. I didn’t take any photos of the car; you can see other people’s reviews.

I chose Phuket for my trip because it offers road bike rental options, which was one of the main reasons I decided to come here. Siam Bike provides Giant TCR bikes, which are a very reasonable choice for the road conditions in Thailand.
To be honest, before the trip I did not expect cycling in Phuket and the surrounding areas to be so safe. However, I discovered many interesting routes with excellent road surfaces, long uninterrupted sections, and surprisingly little traffic from both cars and motorbikes.
Siam Bike provided excellent service throughout my stay. I rented a bike for five days and received it in excellent condition. During that time, I explored the surrounding areas and completed several beautiful routes, and the whole experience was extremely positive.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Siam Bike team and wish them continued success and prosperity in the future.

I booked the half-day coast-to-coast tour and expected a group ride based on the photos from their website. As I have never ridden a road bike before I was a bit concerned if I could keep up with the group.
At the shop it turned out that it was only me and the guide – a pleasent surprise. The store gave a very good impression: Well organized and they provide good bikes. They had prepared a Canyon Ultimate CF SL for me and it fitted perfectly. Also, the shop provided helmet and a bottle. As it was only the guide and me we instantly drove off. I have to admit that I did not tell that it was my first time on a road bike, but it was big fun! The only downside was that it took me the first 20 km until I figured out how the shifting works. 😉
The tour itself was great. At the beginning and end, the route was through villages with some traffic – luckily less than expected and most drivers gave enough space and respected the cyclists. The more north we got, the calmer the roads became. While riding, the temperatures where also quite nice, but whenever we stopped, the heat was a bit overwhelming. After 25 km we had a break at a small, but very nice coffee shop close to the Laem Sai pier. The guide spent a drink which was nice to get some refreshment and to cool down.
The route back to the shop was also close to 25 km which took us less than one hour. As I knew know how the shifting worked I was a bit faster then on the first half. The route back was similar to the way out, so having a different route would have been a nice change. As we started at 9am sharp, we are already back at the bike shop at 11:30am where the staff provided some cold drink and a wet towel for refreshment. During the tour, the guide took several photos and videos which I received on the next day.
If I come to Phuket again, I will definately rent a bike at Siam Bikes again. Probably without a guide as traffic was less dangerous than expected and I would have liked to ride a longer distance – 50 km on the roadbike felt like 25 km on my normal bike.
A suggestions to the Siam Bike team would be to offer also one or more longer guided tours for single day trips. After the great half-day tour I searched for other (longer) bike tours in the Phuket area, but was not able to find anything comparable.

January 2026 tour of South Thailand; approx. 1000 km cycling in 10 days, with a couple of rest days as well. Start and end in Phuket. No rain, sunny and warm or hot the whole time.
Extremely organized as always; Martin and crew take immediate ownership of any complications so the rider has a pretty carefree tour. High end accommodations where possible, and great food. Bikes are high end too. About 1/3 of the riders had e-bikes which worked well for the older and weaker riders (I’m both those things.)
Only about 1/2 of the riders were fluent in English or chose to speak English, so that detracts from the experience for unilingual English-speakers.
Overall good value; a chance to learn about a new part of the world up close and get some exercise for roughly the same cost as lounging around an all-inclusive for 2 weeks.

We had a fabulous ride with the Siam Bike Tours team. It was great to get to know the area as we are in Thailand for 6 weeks and brought our bikes with us. Would definitely recommend taking a tour with them or joining a group ride. Really helpful, friendly people.

Thank you for the 50 kilometer ride with a guide. The bikes were top quality and guidance during the tour was clear. The tour was suitable for our fitness level even though we are not really cycling enthusiasts but otherwise sporty. I think this tour was a good workout and I liked it, of course you saw a lot of beautiful places during ride. The cafe at the mid-point was really cozy too. Our guide took a lot of pictures so we didn’t have to use our phones during the ride.

Very professional cycling tours! Our bikes were labeled with our names and stood ready adapted on our body height. We cycled the coast to coast tour from west to eastern part of the island. Very kind guides who adapted their speed to the average speed of the group members. I would definitely come back and recommend for any cycling fan!

We had a fantastic ~30-mile cycling trip in Phuket with Siam Bike Tours. The route was just the right distance for a holiday ride, with a perfect break by the water to relax and recharge. We rode through rubber plantations, through local towns, and along the sea. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a ton of great photos from our guide—an unexpected bonus! The service from the shop was excellent as well; they took plenty of time to get our bikes fitted properly from start to finish. We’d highly recommend this outfit to anyone visiting Phuket who wants to log a few enjoyable miles!

Asked for a quote a month before my arrival, got an email back immediately and discussed some options (e.g. Garmin mount, SPD pedals,…).
As I was only in Phuket for a full day on a Sunday (their closing day), they’ve suggested that I could pick up the bike on Saturday evening and return it on Monday morning (at no additional cost).
I had a blast discovering the south of Phuket by bike, thanks to the great service of Siam bike tours!

Siam Bike Tours – Phuket Coast to Coast
Our family of four took part in the Phuket Coast to Coast cycle tour on 25 August 2025 – and what an experience it was! The weather was ideal, neither rainy nor too sunny, though we still needed sun cream for UV protection.
We met at 8:45am for a clear briefing and bike fitting. Prateep and Toha ensured we were fully prepared, with Toha leading us as our guide. Despite Phuket’s reputation for steep hills and busy traffic, the route followed quiet, mostly flat roads, taking us to Laem Sai pier and then onwards for a refreshment stop before returning to the starting point – a total of 52 km.
Although we’re all experienced riders, this was a last-minute booking during our trip, so we hadn’t packed proper cycling gear. I’d recommend padded shorts and gloves for extra comfort, but the distance was manageable without (just! 😅).
Plenty of refreshments were provided along the way, with a refreshment break around 30km, is it even a bi’e ride if it doesn’t include coffee and cake 🤔🤣. We completed the tour within the expected 3.5 hours, including the stop.
Given the heat compared to the cooler UK climate, we opted for e-bikes, which made it enjoyable for the whole family (ages 12–54). The bikes were in excellent condition, and the overall experience was fantastic. Lovely to receive copies of the photos taken on the day too 👍

We went as a family with two children (aged 10 and 14). The weather was not on our side as it started to rain heavily soon after we set off, however we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend the tour. We saw the rural side of Phuket which we would never have discovered on our own. The bikes were reliable and well kept. We have a good level of fitness and found the cycling easy with the EV assist. Definitely a tour for anyone who wants to get away from the tourist areas.
The Ruby Sea Cafe on the pier was fantastic and definitely worth a visit on its own (views would be stunning in clear weather).
Our guide, Matt, was really friendly, helpful and informative. He looked after us really well.

We booked a half day tour from Siam Bike tours. We read up on what we needed before our trip so we took our own shoes and helmet. The team fitted us to two Canyon road bikes with Di2, water and electrolytes for our ride.

This was our first trip to Phuket visiting from Toronto, Canada and had an amazing 50 km bike tour. Our tour guide Toha was so informative and we felt safe biking through the streets of Phuket for our coast to coast tour. I highly recommend Siam Bike Tours if you want a fun half-day adventure! The team provided great service including easy booking through emailing.

After the Mountain Challenge in the north of Thailand last year, the Southern Thailand Tour with Siam Bike Tours was also extremely well organized. Martin’s team is extremely attentive and helpful, and they offer an all-round feel-good service that leaves nothing to be desired. Very good hotels in beautiful locations and beaches, varied routes in fantastic landscapes and occasionally a little sightseeing round the whole thing off. Absolutely recommended!

Thanks to SIAM Bike Tours we were able to get to know Thailand from a completely new side.
The tour was perfectly organized with top racing bikes and was led by a very experienced and cool team including the owner, Martin Brot. He also documented the entire trip with awesome pictures that were made available to all participants.

Siam Bike Tours with Martin Brot has been offering racing bike tours in Thailand for over 20 years. The service with rental bikes, tour guides, food and support along the way is professional and the accommodation is well selected. That’s why Lori Godsell’s comment really surprises me. I was on this tour too. By the way, that wasn’t the first with Martin. The speed wasn’t too high even for me as an e-bike rider. And if some people wanted to drive slower, two groups were formed or they simply waited. Of course, you mainly ride in a group, lined up in columns of two. You can also chat. There were also excursions and visits to James Bond Island or to the elephants. Driving on the hard shoulder of highways is permitted in Thailand. And it makes it possible, as a short bridge, to get back onto beautiful, scenic roads. The tour operator can’t do anything about rainy days. The roads in Thailand are not slippery when wet and the temperature is pleasant. I can only recommend Siam Tours. If you don’t like traveling in a larger group, you have to venture out on your own – but is that better?

Great place for hiring a road bike. Quick fit for set up and ready to ride. Phuket and the surrounding area has some cracking routes and not too hot during December / January. Particularly recommend heading up to Phang Nga town. They also arrange supported tours during the year.

Very good half day bike tour around Phuket!
Guide was very knowledgeable, fun and chatty throughout. The tour was lovely, very nice and quiet roads accompanied by nice road bikes that have been well maintained. Would highly recommend!!

I booked the half day ride around Phuket and it was amazing! We took the country rods and there were no cars and good roads to bike on. The time passed by way too quickly.
Our guide Toha was great and made sure all the time we are feeling good.
Would definitely book other trips with them.

The best rental on the island! Excellent branded bikes with a good attachment; the bike comes complete with a helmet, pedals of your choice, bottles, a repair kit and a lock. The staff is very responsive and explains very well the nuances of rental, and also helps you customize the bike to your preferences.

I can recommend the tour 100%, although unfortunately I was only able to experience 60km due to a fall on the first stage. Martin and his team are incredibly helpful, provided excellent assistance on site during the accident and then visited me in the hospital.
And if you’re now wondering: Thailand and riding a racing bike, is that possible?! Yes, it works wonderfully here! My fall was simply due to a moment of really bad luck and a train track. The streets here are great 👍🏼

If you’re in Phuket and enjoy cycling, PLEASE do yourself a favour and drop by at Siam Bike Tours. Due to a tight travel schedule, i was only able to do the half day coast to coast bike tour. It was AMAZING, definitely one of the highlights of my trip. I throughly enjoyed riding on the rolling and beautiful terrain of Phuket. Special mention to all the lovely photos they took, as somebody was was travelling solo at the time and socially awkward, my tour guide took the most amazing photos without me even asking and they did a neat job editing them and sending it over in a few days. My Strava profile definitely got a much needed upgrade with those shots. We were lucky that we had great weather(around first week of december). The fit of my cycle was good and it was definitely a premium quality bike, incase anybody was looking to rent. I loved the store and they have some nice jerseys and other cycle gear you can check out. Will definitely be coming back again to try one of there multiday tours. 🙂

This tour was perfectly planned and organized. The route selection is excellent with great vistas and very good road conditions. The support staff is incredibly attentive to every need and the rental bikes are of excellent quality. Overall a great experience. I have already booked my next tour with Siam Bike Tours. The company is true to its logo „Swiss precision with Thai friendliness.

Great trip with the guide (Nong) 50k looked like a challenge, but achievable on a ebike, even with limited fitness or cycling experience. Definitely a must do for Phuket

I’ve already ridden with a few bike tour operators in various countries in Asia. The tour with Martin Brot clearly beats everything that has come before. It’s just right here: the guides, the hotels, the route, the supplies during the trip (even the “driver” – in reality “the man in the background for everything” – is so great). And the nice atmosphere rubs off on all participants. I’ll definitely do more tours with him – unfortunately it’s already fully booked.

Martin runs a FIVE star service bike tour. I did the Bangkok to Phuket tour in 2023. He and his staff do their very best to ensure you have a great experience. Thailand has great roads, respectful drivers, amazing food and of course it’s the land of smiles, lovely people.
I will mention that as an English speaker, Martin and most of his guests being Swiss prefer to speak in Swiss German. So social occasions are mostly spoken in German. So bring some English speaking friends along, Or learn German before you do one of his tours, Or a good book to read!

Awesome bike tour with Toha. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. It was just my mum and I. It started off as a beautiful sunny day and then turned to rain but that made it more fun and we were prepared with a change of clothes. Very well worth it and a good way to travel around and see Phuket. The coffee and cake stop at the beach was perfect too. Highly recommend the lychee juice and cheesecake 😀

Super happy with the service and work done by Siam Bike Tours. I took my bicycle for a complete strip down, clean and service. I received this beautiful picture with all my bikes components on the table, so neatly and professionally placed on the table. It was really great to see the depth of their full service and bike cleaning and I definitely haven’t seen my bike in such a good condition since I bought it. They also messaged me when finding components that needed replacing and were really efficient with their work – thank you Siam Bikes for the great service.

Best cycling experience I’ve ever had. Routes were varied and completely safe with some great roads. The guides who were amazing and made sure the pace was good for the group and let people ride at their own pace when the roads were clear were safe to split into smaller groups.
The activities around cycling along with the accommodation also no complaints, felt like great value for money. Support vehicle and help always on hand when we needed it for fuel/support/repair.
If you’ve never been confident enough to try a cycling tour Marin/Manoop make it accessible and easy for everyone all the way through to experienced cyclists there’s something there for everyone

We have taken part in many tours from Siam Bike Tours and every tour has been an unforgettable experience. Organized from start to finish. Every wish was fulfilled immediately – whenever possible. Great place for rental. Rented a Canyon Endurance road bicycle with the Ultegra mechanical Groupset. Cannot believe the great condition and ride. I highly recommend the shop. I discovered too late to be able to enjoy the bicycle tour.

My mom and I booked the 11 day Bangkok to Phuket East Coast Cycling tour and it was a truly magical experience. We booked the trip a year in advance and had a ton of questions, Martin was extremely helpful in communicating with us and making sure everything was taken care of!
Martin, Manop, and Narin were all so helpful and accommodating. We didn’t have to worry about anything except for waking up and biking, they had us covered!
There were so many highlights to the tour – the food, the people, the hotels and the routes were perfection. We especially loved the group of cyclists we went with and all the things we learned about Thailand along the way.
In my opinion, there isn’t a better way to travel than by bike and there isn’t a better country or a better tour to go on.
